Unit level volunteers and leaders are the HEART of Scouting America and Scouting Arizona, Grand Canyon Council, bringing the Scout Oath and Scout Law to life through selfless service and mentorship. These leaders impact our community through active programming and guidance, strengthening the mission of Scouting through servant leadership in roles ranging from merit badge instruction and recruitment to team building and outdoor adventures.

Nominations for Unit Leader Awards remain open year-round for recognizing deserving volunteers. Award presentations take place at unit meetings in addition to recognition of their achievements at our annual Baden Powell event in April.
