Safeguarding Youth Training

True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within Scouting America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, territory, council, district, and unit levels.

In our Post, you learn leadership, responsibility, and life skills you can take anywhere. We’re like a family, and our advisors guide us in Exploring and beyond.

Right now, in Scouting, I’m having a lot of fun! Being able to get outdoors, meet new people, and make great friends has been an amazing experience!

Scouting isn’t just camping—it’s meeting people, learning life skills, and gaining confidence. It can even lead to career opportunities!

Anyone can grow in Scouting—you learn as you go. Without it, I wouldn’t have caught my first fish or helped remove invasive species. It’s full of one-of-a-kind experiences.
