Cub Scout Camping
Located just outside Payson on the headwaters of Christopher Creek, R-C Scout Ranch offers an outdoor experience with hands-on activities for all ages. Scouts and families can enjoy horseback riding, crawdad catching, fishing, hiking, and campfire programs in a beautiful forest setting. With a Tot Lot for little ones and flexible programs designed to fit any schedule, R-C makes it easy for the whole family—from siblings to grandparents—to join in the adventure. The camp’s year-round training, weekend outings, and specialized programs create the perfect setting for Scouts to develop outdoor skills, leadership, and teamwork while making lasting memories together.
Situated near Williams, AZ, at the gateway to the Grand Canyon, Camp Raymond offers a flat, forested setting ideal for outdoor adventure. Scouts can enjoy swimming in the pool, canoeing and fishing at the lake, hiking scenic trails, shooting sports, and traditional campfire programs. Each campsite is shaded by towering ponderosa pines and includes picnic tables, latrines, washstands, and flagpoles for a comfortable camping experience. Whether it’s summer camp or weekend outings, Camp Raymond provides the perfect environment for Scouts to explore, learn, and grow.
Scouts BSA & Older Youth Camping
Nestled in the heart of the Tonto National Forest, Camp Geronimo is a pine-rimmed adventure hub where Scouts experience high-adventure challenges, hands-on learning, and leadership development in an unforgettable setting. With a rich tradition of Scouting values, Geronimo offers programs designed to test skills, build confidence, and create lifelong memories.
Scouts can navigate rugged canyons in Spade Ranch Adventure, conquer the Highline Trail on a multi-day backpacking trek, or perfect their angling skills at Fish Camp. For those seeking flexibility, Geronimo DIY allows Scouts to design their own adventure, while the CIT (Counselor-in-Training) Program develops future camp leaders. Classic Base Camp provides a well-rounded summer camp experience filled with merit badges, aquatics, shooting sports, and outdoor exploration.
No matter the path, Camp Geronimo delivers adventure, discovery, and growth for Scouts of all ages.
Camp Raymond offers two unique programs for older Scouts. The Trail to Eagle program helps Scouts work on up to four Eagle-required merit badges in small groups while enjoying classic camp activities in the pine forests of Parks, AZ. For high-adventure seekers, the Four Peaks and a Ditch Trek Program features a 35-mile hike across Arizona’s iconic summits, ending with a trek through Grand Canyon National Park. Both programs provide unforgettable experiences blending skill-building, leadership, and adventure.
