Celebrating Teamwork, Competition, and Fun at Maverick Fall Camporee
The 2025 Maverick Fall Camporee at Camp Geronimo is officially in the books! Despite a few rain showers, Mother Nature was kind enough to let Scouts and Scouters push through the program and enjoy a fun-filled weekend of adventure, teamwork, and competition.
One of the highlights of the event was the Scoutmaster Dutch Oven Cook-Off, which featured 11 incredible entries. The dishes were so good that judging was no easy task!
1st Place: Troop 280 – Schnitzel
2nd Place: Troop 253 – Reuben Dish
3rd Place: Troop 244 – German Style Tri-Tip
Congratulations to all our Patrols for their effort and spirit throughout the weekend! The Presidential Award went to Troop 41’s Shotgun Falcons Patrol, scoring an impressive 397 points—just 3 points shy of perfection!
