Elk, deer, and pronghorn antelope roam the meadows. The San Francisco Peaks tower on the horizon. For a few days, this is home base for your family's grand adventure across 160+ acres of forest, fields, and fun.

🧭 Arrival & Camp Life
Clearing Customs
You'll be welcomed by camp staff the moment you arrive. Here's your step-by-step guide to settling into Camp Raymond and making the most of your stay.
1
Arrive Friday, 1:00–1:30 PM. Camp staff will greet and guide you through check-in. Late arrivals must check in at Headquarters/Health Lodge.
2
Submit medical forms for every participant: BSA Annual Health & Medical Record (Parts A, B1 & B2) with immunization records and a copy of your insurance card.
3
Receive your passport packet: campsite assignment, full activity schedule, Camp Raymond map, and meal wristbands. Allergy/dietary procedures provided if applicable.
4
Set up your base camp. Sites are flat and scenic with running water, shelters, and latrines. Bring your own tent. All meals are served in the dining hall — "The Bistro."
5
Check out by 11:00 AM on the final morning after the last activity. Always sign out at Headquarters when leaving — even for a short trip off-property.
Health Lodge
Staffed 24/7. All injuries — even minor — must be reported.
Dietary Needs
Flag allergies during registration. Confirm at check-in.
Hydration
At 6,700 ft elevation, drink plenty of water every day.
Hand Washing
Required before all meals. Hand-washing station behind the Bistro.
Lost & Found
At Headquarters. Held 2 weeks, then donated.
Trading Post
Snacks, souvenirs, gear essentials — open throughout the session.
Scout Uniform: Cub Scouts are encouraged to wear their full field uniform (Class A) for evening flag, dinner, and campfire. During the day, a Scout tee and shorts work great. Non-BSA family members should dress conservatively and family-appropriately. Label all belongings with your last name!
